Information Requests 

Requests for information or clarification, as well as the submission of denunciations, complaints, reports, and petitions, must be made in writing, through the information request form or the complaint, claims, and petitions form, in accordance with Law no. 120/IX/2021, of March 17.

  •  Complaints and petitions must be addressed in writing to the CNPD, including the names and addresses of their authors, confirming the identification of these entities.
  • The right to complain can be exercised by mail, email, fax, or other means of communication.
  • If the requested matter is not within the CNPD's jurisdiction, it must be forwarded to the competent entity, with due knowledge of the complainant.
  • Unfounded complaints and petitions may be archived by the Commission member to whom the process was assigned.
